Buk bilong Pikinini (BbP) has received a generous contribution of K150,000 from the Sir Theo Foundation (STF), the charitable arm of the Constantinou Group of Companies, to deliver its Nutrition Education Training Program in the Pari and Taurama communities of the National Capital District.

The cheque was presented by Mr George Constantinou, Group Chairman and Governing Director of the Constantinou Group of Companies, BbP’s Executive Officer, Ms Leanne Resson, at the BbP 6 Mile Library Learning Centre today. The handover was witnessed by 21 BbP students, teachers, parents, at teams from BbP and STF alongside members of the media.

Buk bilong Pikinini (BbP) today officially launched its second Playground Project at the Vabukori Library Learning Centre (LLC), marking another important step in creating safe, engaging and child-friendly learning environments for young children.

The playground initiative was developed in response to the National Department of Education’s (NDoE) requirement for Early Childhood Education (ECE) providers to establish designated play areas for children. BbP’s second playground project follows the successful development of its first playground at the 9-Mile Library Learning Centre.

Buk bilong Pikinini (BbP) officially launched Literacy Week 2026 at its UPNG Library Learning Centre on Monday 07^th September, 2026, and also marking the soft launch of a new book series of five Pre-STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) readers developed with financial support from ExxonMobil PNG.

The series introduces young children to STEM concepts through simple, relatable examples that connect learning to everyday life.
