Buk bilong Pikinini (BbP) proudly celebrated the graduation of 46 students from its Tatana Library Learning Centre (LLC) Monday the 2^nd of December, during a joyful and well-attended ceremony at the Tatana Village United Church Hall.

Buk bilong Pikinini (BbP) successfully launched its first-ever Playground Project this morning at the 9 Mile Library Learning Centre (LLC). This milestone project was initiated in response to the recent requirement by the National Department of Education (NDOE) for all Early Childhood Education (ECE) providers to provide a designated play area for children.

Buk bilong Pikinini (BbP) is pleased to announce the extension of its Breakfast Program, following a successful 3-month pilot last year and another 6-month earlier this year at one of the organisations’ Library Learning Centres where 257 students participated. The pilot, which was subject to extensive monitoring and evaluation showed very positive results in supporting student focus and learning in the classroom.

Literacy Week is celebrated globally on September 8 to highlight the importance of literacy as a human right and foundation for lifelong learning.
