250 5-year-old students, from some of Buk bilong Pikinini (BbP) Library Learning Centres in Port Moresby, have today had the opportunity to go on a field trip to the Nature Park to learn basic science skills. Armed with magnifying glasses the children took to the park with a mission to have a closer look at nature.

Buk bilong Pikinini (BbP) has today held a celebration at its Koki Markets Library Learning Centre to welcome Tim Green and Luke Savage of Australia-based Green Cloud Consulting. Due to international border closures, the donors have not had the opportunity to meet the children and teachers at the library the company has sponsored since 2020.

Buk bilong Pikinini (BbP) has today received the donation of a Konica Minolta Bizhub printer from Remington Technology. In order to provide children enrolled at BbP’s Early Childhood Education Library Learning Centres, with the opportunity to learn to read and write, the organisation has a daily need for printing in high volumes.

Mini professional Architect Christabelle Rataga has today launched “When I Grow Up I want to be an Architect” together with Architect Emily Ipi from Pacific Palms Property and the PPP and Steamships teams.

As part of Book Week celebrations, Buk bilong Pikinini (BbP) held an event to receive a generous donation of K50,000 from Theodist ltd. The donation will serve to support the organisation’s mission to improve education outcomes for PNG’s children.

The next two weeks – which celebrates Book Week will see the launch of a Pastry Chef with Airways Hotel, a Heavy Equipment Operator with Hastings Deering, - a Pharmacist and a Nurse with CPL, a Banker with BSP, an Architect with Pacific Palms Property and an Engineer with ExxonMobil PNG.”
